We specialise in managing holiday homes in Wanaka, Albert Town and the Cardrona Valley. Founded in 2008 by local resident Heather Kahl, Wanaka Holiday Homes started with just one property and is now the leading holiday home management firm in Wanaka.
The Team
Heather Kahl enjoys hosting guests and has been helping home owners since her first home in 2008. Heather has carefully built the business with a genuine approach and a commitment to reliability and going that extra mile. The relationships with her homeowners are very strong and she enjoys welcoming the guests to stay in Wanaka. Heather lives here in Wanaka with her family; she balances a life in business with time in the outdoors, travel and with her teenage daughter.
Rachael Leslie takes care or our homes and our people. She welcomes guests and makes sure they have a great stay. Rachael is charge of quality control; she is fastidious in upholding our standard of cleanliness as well as ensuring overall maintenance and upkeep of each property. She communicates with our property owners and manages our cleaning teams. She is a marvel with all these details. When she is not keeping everything ship-shape she is spending time with her teenage girls, in the outdoors and making the most of Wanaka’s biking and hiking tracks.
Caity Zander-Jones heads up our cleaning team, a mighty task. Caity is in charge of a high level of hygiene and cleanliness and along with Rachel and Heather and her team of four she looks after all the holiday homes. The business is built on high standards of presentation and Caity is the master of adding the shine. Her true love is cooking and spending time in the kitchen; she loves baking and spending time outdoors with her dog.
Caity, Rachael and Heather are supported by an incredible team of cleaners, local suppliers, tradesmen and maintenance people. They all love working in a small team to get this big job done.

We are deliberately a small team, who take the utmost care to ensure houses are clean, tidy and taken care of to a very high standard. The Wanaka Holiday Homes team are mindful of the environment, all have an incredible eye for detail and they each enjoy the dynamic and satisfying work involved with managing these properties and hosting guests. They work seamlessly together to deliver a genuine, down-to-earth service.
