Wanaka Holiday Homes offers a personalised service to meet the individual needs of holiday home owners and holidaymakers. We specialise in marketing, cleaning and caring for holiday homes in Wanaka, Northlake and Albert Town. Founded in 2008 by local resident Heather Kahl, Wanaka Holiday Homes started with just one property and is now the leading holiday home management firm in Wanaka. We work with a significant base of happy customers, many of whom are repeat clients.

Marketing and Software

We have invested heavily in Guesty, the leading property management platform for vacation rentals. Guesty has a built in channel manager which allows us to advertise seamlessly on Airbnb, VBRO (Homeaway, Bookabach),, Tripadvisor and Agoda at no additional cost. We also advertise on, a New Zealand specific website. This is optional and incurs an annual subscription fee.

Guest communication and payments are fully automated allowing us to spend more time on marketing, cleaning and ensuring our guests and home owners have a great experience.

Our fees

We charge:

  • An annual listing fee; this includes a silver tier listing on
  • A flat commission per booking, including handling credit card transactions and international transfers
  • A flat rate per booking for linen, cleaning and consumables, customised to each property.

We do not charge for call-outs to the property; we are here to help you, as well as your guests, have a great experience.
