Amazing Alpine Views in Wanaka

Very clean and modern for a 6yr old dwelling and Wanaka Holiday Homes are very prompt at attending to any matters. Upstairs bedrooms would benefit from a heatpump in the common hallway or a small one in each room due to the freestanding fans being quite noisy. The ensuite’s are fabulous and the mains pressure showers with 3 flow settings are great. Exactly what the 5 of us required for a base to explore from. - Thanks!

Thank you for the use of this beautiful house. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was perfect for us. We enjoyed easy access to the Cardrona and Treble Cone ski fields. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Heather was very responsive during our stay. We really appreciated the check in information, which helpfully suggested local eateries and grocery stores, including the suggestion of grocery delivery. We accidentally locked ourselves out, and Heather was very kind and helpful!

Great location and very peaceful—perfect if you’re after a quiet getaway. The place was spotless and had all the basic necessities provided, which we appreciated. There were only two teabags in the box in the cupboard, but no big deal—it’s a short drive to the shops. It does get quite hot inside during the day from the sun, and the bedroom was a bit warm for sleeping. There’s a fan, which helped a little, and aircon downstairs that made a difference too. Overall, it wasn’t unbearable and we still really enjoyed our stay.

Sehr schönes Haus, in dem man auch einmal einen Regentag verbringen kann. Sehr geschätzt haben wir auch die Möglichkeit waschen zu können. Das Haus ist ideal für zwei Paare oder auch Familien mit Kindern. Wer mag, kann selbst kochen. Leider war die Beschichtung der Pfannen total verkratzt. Kochtöpfe hat es aber genug und in gutem Zustand. Auch sonst ist die Ausstattung gut. Bei unserer Ankunft waren die Schlafzimmer in der oberen Etage von der Sonne extrem aufgeheizt, obwohl die Sonnenrollo zu waren.

Wonderful place to spend some time unwinding in Wanaka, close to great restaurants, galleries, bush walks, day trip to Queenstown and more. Accomodation was comfortable, spotless and peaceful.

This is a nice place for a family stay, as it's new and well-organised. However, it's quite far from Queenstown if that's your main destination. Additionally, the upstairs bedrooms lack air conditioning, making it very hot and difficult to rest until late at night in summer days.

Thank you for your feedback. We have just installed a really good fan upstairs in the master bedroom. We did have a bit of a heat wave while these guests were staying. It is an hour drive from Queenstown and we are not advertising to be in Queenstown.

Hard to fault this place - great location that is great for kids and price competitive. The house is new, and while the wallpaper is horrific, the house is functional, warm and as described.

One of the best homes we’ve stayed. Loved the super spacious rooms, all with ensuite which was a huge bonus! Very warm house too. Amenities plenty. Responsive host - the curtains were drawn and heat pump turned on before our arrival in the late evening to keep the place nice and warm, this was so very much appreciated. :) Would definitely stay again, in a heartbeat!

Couldn't have had an easier and more comfortable stay :) Simple check-in and check-out is always appreciated for a seamless trip. Beautiful home with all amenities you could need and some extras I didn't know about. Own TVs in rooms, hair dryers and extra towels. There's even a Bluetooth speaker for use, and more. No need to worry about packing your own pillow here! There are many surplus pillows and bedding to ensure you have a comfortable sleep. Outdoor area is gorgeous for relaxing and oh my gosh the showers are to die for. I will definitely miss those beautiful showers haha. A fabulously comfortable stay, great for groups as you can enjoy the common areas together but can also comfortably retreat to your own room with TV and ensuite and enjoy some alone time to recharge. This location has everything you need, highly recommend :)

This was the perfect place for our summer holidays! We had a room per couple and an ensuite for each, the place was so big, spacious, comfortable and clean. Perfect location with a short drive into the Town. My only feedback would be it does get warm in the upstairs bedrooms in summer. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Not easy walking distance into town but if you have a bike, it’s very bike-friendly. Great place, exceptionally clean and cosy. Spectacular scenery and so quiet. Terrific stay and highly recommended.

Great house. Very warm and had everything we needed.Location was also very good. Handy to Mt Iron for a walk.A couple of minor points - the dishwasher doesn't work properly as soap dispenser doesn't open. It would be good to have a whisk & can opener. Also, a toilet brush for the downstairs toilet would be good please.
