Annandale Lodge in Wanaka

A well presented and comfortable holiday home close to Wanaka township.
The property was in a great location for us, being close to other family staying nearby and also close to the town. But if walking steep hills is too hard for you, the walk will take a bit longer. The bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable, and the bathrooms (and all other spaces) were clean, spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is the best set up I've seen in a rental. I like the eco friendly products supplied and all instructions were clear. There are leisure options provided including spa, table tennis and board games. Power points in the kitchen were a little short on supply. But we did find the discreetly located island points.

Amazing house close to the centre of town. Gorgeous views, spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. Plenty of space for everyone. Table tennis was a hit.
Kids loved the bike jumps across the road.
The backyard does feel like a front yard so the spa backs onto the road but we got use to it quickly and the boys enjoyed watching the bike jumps while relaxing in the spa.
Thai restaurant next door is delicious and there is a cafe/bakery around the corner that does amazing coffee.

We had the most fabulous stay at Heather's property for our friends wedding in Wanaka. The accommodation had everything we required and was super close to all town shops and beautiful views of the mountain topped it off! We loved Annandale Lodge in Wanaka, great location - good view, walk into town and quiet spot. My 8 and 10 year old boys loved the Spa and Ping Pong table. It was clean, well appointed with 2 separate bedroom wings and bathrooms - and a great size kitchen and living room.

A lovely 5 minute walk through forest to the central town, venues, cafes and restaurants.
The spa pool was well used by some guests and a very comfortable dining living space.

Family holiday
Wanaka turned on great weather for us and the house was a success with fencing, spa and bike track tricks to watch across the road. Easy walk downhill to lakefront. The house was really well equipped - we were very happy with it thanks.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay in Wanaka and could have stayed longer. The place was great with everything you could want, kitchen has what you need to cook, comfy beds, spacious, etc. Even though it was warm outside, without a/c the evening breeze would cool down the house nicely. We enjoyed the walkability to town strolling through the park with our toddler and grandparents for dinners and a pleasant walk home. So much to do in this town and the surrounding national parks. We didn’t turn on the tv once. Do yourself a favour and stay longer than you normally would to enjoy this town.

High expectations exceeded
Fantastic holiday home. After viewing the property online we had high expectations for our stay and we were not disappointed. When we arrived the place was exactly as advertised AND really warm. We prepared meals at home every day and the kitchen is well appointed and has everything needed. The hot tub was unreal as was the table tennis table. There were 8 of us including a 5 year old and two teenagers and there was plenty of space for everyone to find a quiet space when needed. Highly recommend this house to you.

Beautifully appointed airbnb with everything we could need in a picturesque setting. Comfy beds and spacious living area
A lovely property, with super comfy beds and a spacious living area. Easy walk into town but keep in mind it's uphill on the way back! Hot tub was a welcome treat after a day's hiking. Be aware that right behind the property, in the space that was probably once the garden, trailers, floats and caravans are stored. This wasn't a problem per se, we only noticed 1 person come to collect their trailer whilst there, but it would have been nice to know about this arrangement prior to booking.Also, some of the cutlery and crockery needed a wash before using, but the rest of the property (bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.) was spotless.

Decor lovely, very comfy beds, nice linen and towels, kitchen well equipped and proximity to town is good with great path just across the road which take you right into town - 10 minute walk. Perfect stay in Wanaka, no bad points
Location was perfect, a great cafe around the corner, stunning mountain views and a step back from the main streets which is my preference. Warm, comfortable, lots of spare towels and a well stocked kitchen and funtionally stocked pantry. Management were super quick to respond and very helpful. Would give 10 stars if I could and definitely returning. Nothing. Well, a cat was hanging around and acting pathetic and we felt bad not letting it in but it didn't belong to the owners!

Nice spacious 4 bedroom house not too far from the edge of town. Presented as new per the photos, super clean and modern styling.
Gas fireplace warms the house up quickly and the hot tub has a great view across to the mountains.

Nice roomy modern home. Cut through the pine trees opposite and on the hill looking down over Wanaka town. Good views from the lounge. Great bathrooms with power showers. The place is great, just as advertised. We did a winter trip here and were amazed by how quickly the fire warmed the place each evening when we got home and how well the large kitchen, lounge area worked for the 8 of us. Only small things to be aware of. The drying room is on a timer and won’t come close to drying ski gear ready for the next day and the clothes dryer next to the washing machine also leaves your clothes slightly damp. If you’re into the ping pong table in the garage bring your own bats and balls as all of theirs are broken. Those minor things aside, we would certainly book this place again for future trips.

Cosy modern holiday home close to the shops and the waterfront. The gas fireplace heated up the house quickly and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had all the basic equipment we needed. Access to the garage to store our gear and bikes was a big plus! We will certainly book again next time we come by to Wanaka.

A Great Family Weekend
We had a great time staying at Annandale Lodge. The hosts were accommodating to our needs and their communication was fabulous. Would definately recommend this to anyone looking for central Wanaka accommodation!

Perfect location for holiday adventures
The property is perfectly located for easy access to shops and restaurants, as well as to cycleways around Wanaka lake and Clutha River. I would not hesitate to recommend it to people who enjoy a range of outdoor activities within a short distance from the house. There is a even a jumps park across the road!
