Grandview Wanaka Holiday Apartment

Absolutely loved our stay. Clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfy. As the name suggest- the view was grand. Check in aand out was easy and communication was excellent. Would definitely book again.

Location was great, apartment had little extra touches which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Deli close by for the little extras and a tavern across the road with great meals and we also attended the quiz night. 3 flights of stairs with suitcases but all good we manage ( im just a sook)

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a great location to explore Wanaka and Mt Aspiring National park. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. We definitely can recommend this place !

Really lovely modern and super clean Apartment! Perfect for a Rest Day after hiking the Roys Peak - only 15mins drive with the car to Roys Peak and the city. Would stay here again! Amazing.

Heather was a very helpful and responsive host. Accommodated us with a last minute booking. I liked the modern space at Heather’s apartment. Two bathrooms were attached to the bedrooms so was private to stay with between friends. There was a lot of parking nearby. The only issue was the stairs were a bit high if you have a lot of luggage.

"Grandview Wanaka was the perfect place to stay during our ski trip
We loved being situated in a quieter part of town (an easy 10 minute drive out of town) with magnificent views of the mountains. Whilst we were only two, the flat was more than spacious enough for four adults. The flat was easy to find with ample parking and clear instructions for use. The flat itself was very well equipped, squeaky clean and true to the photos. All communication with Wanaka Holiday Homes was prompt and helpful! We would love to stay here or with Wanaka Holiday Homes again in the future!"

Overall the apartment is in a nice, new, quiet neighborhood and just a few minutes drive to town and a fabulous bakery we found called “Pembroke Patisserie” (definitely check it out!) … it is also very well appointed with all you need (we stayed for 7 nights and self catered the whole time we were there with no issues at all). Everything is super clean and new and the balcony is a great place to relax for breakfast and dinner. The mattress was a little soft for our liking, but if you like a soft mattress then you are in luck. We did have some issues with a noisy neighbor playing loud music right next door and we had to knock on his door twice and ask him to turn it down, but there was no friction there and he did comply when asked (we did report this to the host who was super responsive and said they would take care of it). Overall it was great, we really liked the apartment & location and we would stay again. Definitely a recommend from us! :-)

I was worried about the location in the beginning but turned out for a small town like Wānaka an easy 10 mins drive takes you anywhere. On the contrary Northlake offers the serenity that town center doesn’t. This looks like a new community and the apartment itself is literally brand new. It was a smooth process from onset. Everything is clean and tidy. Amenities provided was more than enough to get us started. We had a great stay here. The only improvement I can suggest is that WiFi signal didn’t cover the guest bedroom very well.

Beautiful place to stay
I recently stayed in this beautiful apartment for 3 nights.It was easy to find- has a fabulous outlook to the spectacular mountains and a lovely balcony for our morning coffee and cocktails in the evening!The bed was comfy and it’s only a short walk to the Hello Ranger cafe/ restaurant . There is a dairy / food store a minute walk away too. It’s handy to central Wanaka . We would definitely stay here again.(Has a coffee machine too)…. Love it. Will be back..
