Heather’s place is conveniently located a few minutes drive from the centre of Wanaka but far enough away for absolute peace and quite. After busy days away exploring this beautiful part of New Zealand it was so easy to duck home, put your feet up and have a cuppa before returning to Wanaka or other locations to take in a stroll along the water. Comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen added to a very enjoyable stay. Communication before and during was excellent.

Heathers place was beautiful, nice views, well appointed kitchen and very comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend, as Wanaka is such a fun place.

Spacious and comfortable accommodation. The location was great, just a quick drive from everything. We loved our stay and would recommend it! The driveway is very steep and tricky but we easily found street parking if needed.

Wonderful
Clean, new and warm. Stylish interior and has everything you need. Sunny house, nice linen. Extra steep slippery driveway. I fell over and injured myself. It was disappointing to miss out on skiing and other activities due to the injury. A hand rail and proper steps are definitely needed at this property plus a warning to renters about the icy slippery entry.

We stayed for a few days and it was very comfortable. The house is brand new and very clean; comfortable mattresses; fully equipped kitchen with sharp knives! We had a minor issue with the hot water system on the first day but were advised to push the mixer handle harder and not to shower in both bathrooms at the same time and it worked.

Great for our needs
Great layout, comfy bunk beds even for adults, had everything we needed. The bbq was great. They provided enough toilet paper for a few days, shampoo/body wash etc. and basics like oil, salt & pepper, which wasn’t expected based on the description and email from the property. A nice bonus. Would have been good to know what consumables were provided ahead of time as we brought some things with us unnecessarily. It got very hot in the bedrooms as we had hot days when we visited and A/C is only in the lounge, though this is typical and not unexpected in NZ. There were fans though. Frying pans were hard to cook with as food stuck badly, again not unexpected for a holiday home.

My partner & I had a fantastic stay here for three very relaxing nights. The place was plenty big enough for many more than just the two of us, but it still felt cosy & homely. Located outside of town we found it worked perfectly once we'd hire bikes, which was especially handy to explore the great trails in Sticky Forest out the back!

We were very happy with the Kirimoko family home. It was clean and as pictured. The driveway was very steep and the street had a lot of tradie cars in it, made it hard to manoeuvre sometimes. Given that we were very happy there.

Perfect stay for a young family. Very steep driveway was a minor hurdle once you got the hang of it. House yard is not fenced so important to keep in mind for families travelling with children. House is very new and fresh and has everything you need.

We had a lovely stay here. The place was well furnished with comfy beds, nice kitchenware (including a coffee plunger & nice wine glasses, which I often find lacking in some accommodation!)
My husband and I stayed with my parents & 17 mo daughter. The house was kid-friendly - free of clutter & easy enough to make sure she wasn't getting into anything she shouldn't, which made our stay so much easier & enjoyable.
Heather was great at communicating & responded promptly. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood and the proximity to the Sticky forest for walking and biking trails. It was a bit of a walk to the town itself but easy enough to drive. Beds were very comfortable and the fans in all the bedrooms were good for the warm nights. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed ourselves at Heather’s house. There were 6 of us altogether (3 adults, 3 kids) and we were able to spread ourselves between the bedrooms to provide shared and private spaces.
The kitchen was very well equipped, and we cooked most of our meals at home.
The boot drying rack was awesome, as was the extractor in the hot water cupboard. The dryer doesn’t externally vent, so don’t run the dryer and boot drying rack at the same time or you’ll just blow damp air into the boots.
The house is very well insulated, and the heat pump kept everything nice and warm.

Well equipped kitchen, great storage for all our ski things, and awesome having access to washing and drying facilities for our stay especially supplying clothes washing liquid.
So close to mountain bike park, and semi close to walks by the river.
Super quiet at night and the area felt safe.
Took us a few attempts to master the driveway, we found reversing up was the best way after reading this in the house manual.

Lovely presented home that’s only a few months old. Well laid out and we had a very comfortable stay. Our only slight disappointment was that the showers weren’t overly hot and if any other tap in the house is turned on the shower goes cold which seemed odd for such a new home.
Handy location to sticky forest and a short drive to town etc.
