Excellent stay! The view from the living area was gorgeous & the peace & quiet with only nature sounds (birdsong, etc) with the deck doors open was charming. Super easy walk into town made it simple to leave the rental car & just stroll, hire bikes, etc. Everything convenient & relaxing.

Staying in Wanaka was beautiful and we really liked the house. It was modern, comfortable and very clean. It has a terrific view to the lake and mountains. Everything you need is here and the house keeps very warm in winter.

My mother and I stayed here three nights and loved it. Incredibly quiet for the proximity to town and the home was immaculate. 5 min walk to main shops in wanaka and the lake. Beautiful views. Wonderful kitchen. Loved our stay!!

We loved our stay! Perfect for our Spring ski trip - right in Wanaka town, quick drive to Cardrona. The house was great for our family of 6, with plenty of space and separate living space and TV for the kids. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless and the living room was lovely and spacious and very cosy with the heat pump and gas fire place. We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic house, we had a wonderful stay. The house is great for a family, so warm and comfortable. Agree with the other reviews that the beds are very firm. But we will absolutely be back

La Cachette is a great place to stay in Wanaka. It has a great set up with bedrooms downstairs and living area upstairs to make the most of the view of the lake. Nice balcony to chill out on. Very modern and spotless. Also short walk to the town so can leave the car behind for eating out.
