One of the finest Holiday Home lodging possibly in all of Wanaka
Luxury holiday home experience that was absolutely worth the expense. Hosts have gone above and beyond our wildest expectations with the level of comfort and convenience. Outstanding property features too numerous to mention and finest WiFi we experience in our entire month travelling around NZ. Self check-in with code, ample space on the driveway for two SUVs, children's playroom and only the finest modern furnishings & decoration were several of the highlights. No regrets!

What a wonderful way place to stay, a beautiful house in a beautiful location.

This home is beautiful and it had everything our family needed. I would have loved to stay longer if I could.

Our airbnb in Wanaka was absolutely perfect. It completely lived up to our expectations - good location, well-stocked...perfect for 3 couples. Parking is easy, but you hardly need a car since it is a quick walk to the great little town of Wanaka and the beautiful lake. I highly recommend this house and the Wanaka area.

Five Star stay in Wanaka

Best holiday house.
Excellent house. We had a fantastic holiday and it catered for everything we needed. Great kitchen and super comfortable lounge room. The beds were super lush and comfortable. The fusball table was a hit with the kids and being so close to town made life easy. And to top it off the views are captivating. I could have sat there watching the mountains all day.

We absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb in Wanaka. It was clean, warm and roomy and very well equipped. The beds were super comfy and the rooms had great wardrobe space. The bathrooms were spacious and we appreciated the under floor heating in winter and the smart mirrors were a bonus. The living area and kitchen were comfortable and well furnished and great for hanging out in. My husband had some work to do, so the small office space was useful. Thanks for the great stay.

Awesome stay in Wanaka, we really enjoyed how we were able to have some quiet being off the waterfront but still could walk to everything in town. It is a comfortable place with easy parking. Others mentioned that it can get too warm. We didn’t really have this issue. The split AC worked well for us and we just opened the windows but we were here at the end of the summer so temps did not exceed 25C. This may be more of a summertime problem.

From whoa to go Heather was friendly and helpful. We loved our stay in Tenby Street, great location, great facilities, and plenty of space for my family of 5. When we had to postpone our stay by a night due to flight delays Heather was proactive in helping us find a workable solution for both Airbnb and us. When we arrived, a lovely little welcome card was found in the lounge along with the pedestal fan I had asked for. Thank you again Heather - we will be back.

The house is modern and clean in a great location. Two things to call out:
- as other reviews have said, the air conditioner upstairs seems underpowered for the space and struggles to cool the room down. This may also be a challenge with heating in winter for those with young children where using the fireplace is difficult
- the heaters in the bedrooms are all on 6 hour timer switches meaning they turn off in the wee hours of the morning when it’s coldest. This was annoying for us since our son would wake up cold and we’d need to turn it back on then wait until the room warmed up enough to put him back in his cot

We loved Heather’s place. We were in Wanaka for a family wedding so were able to walk to restaurants, bars etc to meet up with family & friends. The chalet/home was perfect for our family (adult kids) with bedrooms downstairs, spacious living upstairs. View from the balcony was beautiful. Cosy and warm with fireplace or airconditioning if preferred., fantastic kitchen, clean modern bathrooms, comfortable beds with electric blankets. Highly recommend this airbnb.

The Mountain Chalet is everything you need for a fantastic stay in Wānaka. We loved the quiet neighborhood location where we could easily walk to shops and restaurants in town. The house was in a peaceful area, close to down town Wanaka.
The kitchen was extremely well equipped and even had the latest Breville coffee machine with a milk wand.
The bedrooms were roomy and the beds comfortable.
The only slight issue was that the upper level became quite hot in the late afternoon when the outdoor temperature was above 25°C, and the air conditioning struggled a little to cool the large kitchen, dining and lounge space. The temperature in Wanaka was certainly warm for our entire stay, and this may be a rarity.
Would stay again.

The Perfect Wanaka Ski Chalet.
This is a very comfortable, well appointed property that we have booked for the past two years. We love that it is within walking distance to Wanaka township. The house is warm and sunny with plenty of space to spread out in and to enjoy. There are views of the mountains from the upstairs living area and a fire to relax in front of apres ski. A home away from home. The garage is too small to park a car in (unless you drive a Bambina!) but it is good storage for skis, boots and bikes.
