Pips Lakeview Retreat

This was the perfect place for an extended family holiday. The view was stunning, there was plenty of space for us all to spread out, the kitchen was well stocked and there were toys and beanbags for the kids. I would definitely return.

Great house, good layout of bedrooms, and all you need in the kitchen etc. Beautiful views, and awesome fireplace keeping it nice and warm. Host was good to deal with, and quick communications.

We had a wonderful stay at Pip’s Retreat, the location was great with a short walk to the shorefront, with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains. It stayed nice and warm for our winter stay, and we made good use of the provided firewood. We would happily stay again.

Excellent place for a 4 day family get together. One of the Barbecue burners needs unblocking otherwise perfect.

My family had a fantastic stay at Pip's Lakeview home - the house was clean, functional and conveniently located. The children loved bring walking distance to the park and town. We wholeheartedly enjoyed spending family time and making memories on the deck.

Amazing home is Wanaka that had everything we needed. The airbnb listing summed up the home perfectly, and check in/check out was stress-free. Our group had a week full of amazing memories and most of them were thanks to the beautiful accommodation and it's location. Thank you so much!

We were travelling with a 2 year old. the fireplace guard was unsecured and useless. it collapsed on the 2 year old. the steps had a baby guard but we very slippery even for adults. the downstairs bedrooms were very cold and the double bed downstairs was very soft ! it was ok but I wouldn't book again.

We had a large group stay and it was perfect for us. Big communal spaces were great and the views were spectacular. Great check in instructions and check out was very easy. We felt very at home in Wanaka!

Great location & worked well to have extended family from around the country to stay together. Nice place to enjoy the view when stuck inside for a couple of days due to heavy rain & Heather was fantastic when we had a mishap with the aircon - great communication & quick action to get it fixed. If you’re staying there with a baby or toddler, take a baby gate for the stairs as they’re quite steep. We just shut the door to the kitchen & lounge to keep our crawler safe.

Our family of 7 adults spent 3 nights. The setting is magic, with a great big deck giving glorious views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The house is large, with 4 big bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs and one bedroom and a bathroom upstairs. 5-10 minute walk into the centre of town or down to the lake. Great spot and lovely house. Highly recommended.

Modern and well-appointed house in a convenient location. Good off-street parking and garden. The deck is a great place to have a drink or dinner in summer! The only negative was the double bed in the ground floor bedroom- very uncomfortable. The curtains let in a lot of light in that room too. Apart from that, it was perfect and we'd love to stay there again.
