Great house for our family (baby and 3yo, parents and grandparents all stayed) - single level, lots of space to play, generous hallway, lots of bathrooms. Great kitchen and outdoor area as well, and very responsive host. Would love to stay again some time! Also loved the big map of the region on the wall in the kitchen - great to look at where we had been on our daily adventures!

Large, comfortable house in a fantastic location within walking distance to the lake
The house was a fantastic property for our large family in Wanaka. It was walkable to downtown and the lake, a much larger in space than the photos led us to believe, and it was very clean. There is no view of the lake from the property, but the yard with table and BBQ were great, and we loved the gas fireplace to heat the living room. The decor was lovely, the furniture was cozy, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was large with all the pots, pans, and basics to cook our meals. The eco products provided for use - toiletries, dish soap, and laundry soap - were awesome! We had a couple of issues and questions during our stay, but the host was quick to respond and communicated well. The door to the yard was broken, so we couldn't open up the patio to the kitchen and living space, but the host immediately sent a handyman, was in the process of fixing it, and we simply used the large sliding doors off the master bedroom instead. The master bathroom lacked a toilet paper holder which was awkward and the shower had a weird, low "lid" on it which gave it a musty smell and made it claustrophobic and challenging for people over 6 feet tall. The other bathroom had a normal, open top shower, thankfully. Overall, nothing major to complain about and we'd absolutely recommend this house for your stay in Wanaka!

Such a great location! Easily walkable to the beach and town if you're able.
Super comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen for cooking.
The driveway is small and the parking area is as well - I was concerned in the beginning that our Subaru Forester wouldn't fit but we made it work.
The house was a bit smaller/less modern than the photos led me to believe, but the space is nice and clean and worked very well for us.

What a beautiful place to stay! With two adults and three teenagers, this residence was incredibly comfortable and spacious. The lounge was super comfortable and allowed us space to relax after our busy days in Wanaka. The garden area was just gorgeous! Awesome place to stay in wanaka. 2 min walk to lake and 5-10 min walk to township.
Great house for families.
Easy check in.
Handy to know for families with baby needing portacot, there is a little area around behind master bed for portacot which frees up another room.
Only slight negative because we love the sun was the large trees blocking most of the sun for the day. Wouldn’t be an issue in summer just limited sun in winter.

Communication from the host was great and our early checkin was very much appreciated. We really enjoyed staying in Heather's home. The kitchen was very well set up and we appreciated the laundry. The bedrooms were spacious and the home was very clean.
With our 8 seater Kia Carnival we found getting into the garage difficult but managed to park next to the house without blocking the driveway for anyone else.
With two young children travelling with us, we would have appreciated some books and toys for them. We've been delighted to see them in all the other places where we've stayed.
It would be appreciated if body wash, shampoo and conditioner was provided in the bathrooms.

Home Away from Home
We used this lovely property as a base when our daughter was getting married in Wanaka. It was such a great home to welcome family and friends and the kitchen was very well equipped for the amount of cooking and entertaining we had to do at this time. We had plenty of storage space for all the wedding preparation items and lots of wardroom room for the wedding outfits. With comfortable beds and plenty of bathroom space it was like a home-away from-home - perfect for our needs

Great place! Full of scenery. It is a perfect house to stay in all year round. Plenty of heating during the colder nights. Super close to the centre town. Driveway can become a little bit crowded if you have more then one car but can still be manageable. Short walk to ‘that Wanaka tree’ as well.

What a luxurious place to stay! We had a fantastic time. The house is very modern, spacious, with multiple bathrooms to avoid queuing, a garage and a fantastic barbecue. The location is great, just by the park and across the road from the lake and stunning views and still a short walk to town. And a great value for money, too. Highly recommended!
