this beautiful house has everything we need, good size for family and incredible view for a relax holiday. 40mins drive to codrona ski filed. 10 mins to town. easy and convenient. highly recommend.

Heather was responsive and proactive throughout. I'd asked for an early check-in: Heather was doubtful but indeed, texted me that the house was ready an hour earlier than standard check-in time. There were a few minor items that we alerted Heather to but that did not detract from our stay - and we were thanked for the feedback. The house was excellent: spacious inside and out. It easily absorbed five adults and our two grandchildren. Walking trails are nearby, 5 minutes to Wanaka center. It was a little pricey but we'd stay again if we needed that size of house.

We had a great time in this beautiful house! It has everything a family would need and we felt like staying at home. The outdoor view is amazing. Our children had their own private space to watch TV and play games in the separate lounge/entertainment room, which is a real bonus! The children also enjoyed biking in the park outside while we kept an eye on them from the deck. Highly recommend families with kids to stay at this well maintained house. Thank you Heather!

We stayed Gem for two weeks for our skiing holiday. We loved everything about this place and everything was perfect and you will find everything you need. We enjoyed a beautiful open view from living room. Every morning we can see sunrise behind the mountain in different shades. We loved heated floor and cozy fire place and heated blankets for every beds. Heather was so kind, helpful and quick to reply. Thank you so much again. Really hope to be back.

An incredible, beautiful large home that was perfect for our 2 week stay. The mountain views were stunning..... the area is so quiet. Looks out over the pathway that Lovely size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms make it easy for a family! goes thru to Sticky Forest..... great for the kid to ride and run on. Would definitely rebook!

We had a great stay at the gem, lovely modern house with plenty of space. Cosy fire, underfloor heating and heat pump kept us warm. Well equipped kitchen, DVDs, Netflix and games for the kids. Nice bathrooms x3. Big garage for ski gear and car. Watch Treble Cone lights at night. Perfect spot. We'll be back.

Our family of seven enjoyed a magnificent 9 day-stay. The property is conveniently located close to the Sticky Forest, a gravel pathway at the rear of the house providing easy bike access. The car port/parking area is large enough for a float and two cars. The decks are spacious incl. sturdy outdoor furniture. The house itself is beautifully designed, with exceptionally high ceilings providing head-space. All the amenities you could wish for are present, incl. sensor lights, self-closing toilet covers, huge glass showers, cool water dispenser in fridge, hot water tap in scullery/pantry, well assorted cutlery, media room, fire place, large windows, and of course the views of Black Peak, Minaret Ridge etc. . Wanaka township and the the Lake itself, as well as Albert Town, are a short drive away. We will definitely recommend this property and hope to be back sometime. Smita and Michael

A fantastic place to come back to after exploring in the region. Cozy and warm yet spacious, modern but very comfortable. Interesting outlook with mountain vistas and local activity but privacy also available at the flick of a switch. Quiet and safe-feeling neighbourhood.

There were six of us enjoying the views of the mountains and the open-air living. The trails outside the backyard led to views of Lake Wanaka and Lake Hawea. The beautifully designed house afforded perfect space for comfortable living. With our rental car we took advantage of the proximity to Wanaka, a ten minute drive, and the not too distant wineries. We took advantage of the modern kitchen as we enjoyed several meals on the spacious patio, listening to music on the Sonos system (but not after 10:00 p.m. per neighborhood requirements). The bedroom and bathroom configuration suited three couples perfectly. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Wanaka we will stay at the Gem.
