Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT TERMS
A deposit of 50% of the booking total will be charged on confirmation. The remaining balance is charged 14 days prior to arrival. Any unpaid balance 7 days prior to arrival may result in cancelation without refund.
HOUSE RULES
Minimum age requirement to book is 28 years of age. We do not allow tents, camper vans, parties or exceeding the number of guests booked. Parties are not permitted under any circumstances. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in loss of bond and/or eviction with no refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a refund less a $50 cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled between 30 and 14 days before the start of stay will result in loss of deposit.
Bookings cancelled within 14 days before the start of stay will be charged the full amount.
We recommend travel insurance for unforeseen event such as injuries or flight disruptions.
SMOKING
We have a no-smoking policy. Please do not smoke inside the property.
BOND
A bond of up to $500 may be required to cover damages and excess cleaning. Exceeding the number of guests booked, tents, camper vans or parties will result in loss of bond.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check in time is 3:00pm on the day of arrival. Please request an early check-in if required and we will endeavor to fulfill your request. Check out time is 10:00am on the morning of departure. Failure to checkout by 10.00am may result in an extra night's accommodation being charged.
DAMAGES/NEGLIGENCE/EXCESS CLEANING
We accept that breakages and accidents do happen, although damage to the property and/or its' furnishings caused by negligence will result in the cost being on-charged to the guest’s credit card or from the bond. Excess cleaning is charged to the guest at $45 per hour plus GST.

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES BY Wanaka Holiday Homes
It doesn’t happen often, but unforeseen circumstances may arise making a reserved property unavailable, (for example, a holiday homeowner may withdraw their property for its sale or urgent repairs). This is out of Wanaka Holiday Homes control, we will not accept any liability for such an occurrence, financial or otherwise. If this rare situation occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the booking on behalf of the owner. However, every effort will be made to find alternative comparable accommodation for the intended dates of stay or unused rental fees and charges will be refunded in full. No further compensation will be offered.
